Out-of-favour Gunner’s defender Johan Djourou has sealed a loan deal with Budesliga side Hannover 96 till the end of the season. Djourou, who has made 144 club appearances for Arsenal will join to the German side to gain some 'play time' as stated by Arsene Wenger. Arsenal, who are looking to clear out their deadwood, have already loaned out Chamakh to West Ham United. The news was confirmed on the official club website with the statement, "Everyone at Arsenal would like to wish Johan well for his time in Germany."

White Hart Lane’s newest acquisition, Lewis Holtby, today expressed happiness at having finally fulfilled his dream to switch to England. Holtby, whose father is from Liverpool, was addressing fans for the first time after the switch. "When I was a lad, I used to sit with my dad in front of the TV and long to play there. This chance has now arrived, and I have taken it.I have always said that it would be realising a dream for me to play in the Premier League one day. As soon as this became reality, it was a childhood dream come true", he explained.
